What We Are

The name “Los Carneros” meaning “the Ram,” derived from days when the region was home to sheepherders, dairy farms, fruit orchards and hay fields. Today the region is known for its natural beauty, its wildlife, and its culture of community.

Carneros still offers unusual contrasts: you can observe wildlife sharing the backroads with acre after acre of vineyards. On those same roads you will find both internationally-run wineries, and family-owned, boutique wineries, many offering tasting opportunities. The owners and winemakers are often on site, available to talk about their wines.

While each winery in the Carneros region has its own style, you will find elegance and balance a hallmark throughout the region.
